Creating groups

Creating d.3 groups with the appropriate permissions lets you enable users to work with d.velop documents. You can also create groups for administrative access and technical access.

This is how it works

  1. Click Rights > Groups > New.
  2. Create a group for administrators.
    1. Under Advanced properties > User > d.3 > User account, set the Administration access right for logging in to d.3 admin.
    2. If you also want members of the group to log in to the web client, set the Interactive login right as well.
  3. Create a group for service users (e.g. for technical component communication).
    1. Under Advanced properties > User > d.3 > User account, set the Service user right. This option ensures that a license is not used for service users.
    2. Deactivate the Interactive login option.
